Grand Master Park was born October 15, 1959 in Dae Cheon, Chung Nam Province, South Korea. As a child, he was very shy and weak. So, his father brought him to the Taekwondo studio. He began to learn Taekwondo and his character changed. He became positive and always active with confidence and self control.Taekwondo changed his life.

In addition to Taekwondo, Grand Master Park has also studied several other martial arts, such as Jeet kun do; Judo; Hapkido; and Kickboxing. When he was a senior in college, he learned martial dance from Master Ki Bum. Grand Master Park's hunger to learn martial arts continues; he is still studying and learning as much as he can of martial arts.

His philosophy is, Martial Art is not seasonal or a hobby. It is a way of life. It makes us healthy in mind, body, and spirit; and gives self confidence. He likes the quote "Winners never quit, quitters never win" and encourages his students to never, ever, give up. A positive attitude is very important, and everyone should try to learn something new every day even if it's by mistake. We learn from mistakes too. Life is full of challenge and you can change yourself and your life if you desire.

Desire! Plan! Execute!

Grand Master Park almost always has a smile on his face, and he often says "If you want to be happy, choose to be happy. Smile and you will feel happier."
